New Arrivals

Pretty much all of the shoe companies release a new batch of models twice/year…in other words, they replace half of their line in the January/February time frame and the other half of their line is replaced sometime between June and July. So, they’re turning over their models once/year. We hope to keep this page as up to date as possible with news of our most recent arrivals and stop by to see them in person for your self.

Most of the 2010 models have arrived and the rest will be here in either June or July. Here are some of our new models and a few thoughts on them…

  1. Adidas Supernova Glide 2
  2. Asics 2150: our best-selling shoe annually seems to be very similar to the 2140, although it is fitting a little wider/longer. Also available in all black.
  3. Asics 1150: The women’s version is now available in a narrow width after a four year hiatus!
  4. Asics 160TR: Our best-selling cross trainer continues to offer great stability and lateral support at only $70. Still available in leather and mesh for both sexes.
  5. Asics Kayano 16 & Asics DS-Trainer 15
  6. Brooks Adrenaline 10: More stable and a much better fit (slightly narrower) than last year’s model with a nice price reduction from $105 to $100. Also available in all black.
  7. Brooks Addiction Walker: Our best-selling walking shoe is all leather and continues to provide great arch support. Available in black, white and brown for men and black, white and beige for women, as well as velcro for both sexes.
  8. Brooks Glycerin 8 & Brooks Defyance 3
  9. Brooks Green Silence: This lightweight, neutral racing flat is very eco-friendly and made with recycled materials and soy-based inks.

  12. Brooks Trance 9: The new model is more stable than last year’s model, but with a softer ride.

  17. New Balance 760 & New Balance 1064
  18. Nike Free 5.0: The original barefoot alternative continues to be a great shoe for those with an efficient gait who want an everyday or post run shoe to strengthen their feet and lower leg muscles.
  19. Nike Lunarfly: The lightest lunar shoe from Nike is only $80.
  20. Nike Lunarglide: Runner’s World best shoe of 2009, this lightweight shoe from Nike uses their new LunarLite foam and is great for underpronators to mild overpronators.

  24. Mizuno Wave Rider 13: One of our lightest neutral shoes continues to have a great, narrow fit. Fits a little longer than the “12”.
  25. Saucony Stabil CS: This motion control shoe features a wider, roomier toebox and seems to be a little less supportive than last year’s model.
  1. Saucony Echelon: Another great straight-lasted shoe for that unique person who has a flatter arch but is also neutral. Very similar to the Brooks Dyad, Asics Fortitude and New Balance 883.
