Our kids running clinics are usually held in the winter (February) and summer (August) on three consecutive Saturday mornings. The clinic is open to kids ages 4-13 and teaches young runners about pace, form, gait, etiquette and age appropriate safe training regimens. They are free of charge!
Mark Lorenzoni and Kathy Thomas (veteran County P.E. teacher and two-time Richmond Marathon winner) serve as volunteer coaches for the clinic. Signups are only available at the clinic site (UVa’s Lannigan Field track) and each child receives a free water bottle. Each weekly clinic runs for 45 minutes to an hour. Call Mark at 293-3367 or email us for specific clinic times.
